Job Title: ECRS Mk2 Systems Engineer

Salary: £41,361.00 + Depending on Skillset
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the management of the Radar supplier including participation in the Supplier’s regular engineering reviews
- Support the development of the ECRS Mk2 Radar Equipment through interaction with Supplier and internal BAES stakeholders
- Support the continued development and finalisation of the RF Interoperability design
- Support the continued development of the ECRS Mk2 Radome
- Support the formalisation of necessary Eurofighter documentation through to approval and issue
- Provide systems and equipment engineering review of supplier-submitted documents in support of the Preliminary Declaration of Design and Performance (PDDP) and other locally produced material using Teamcenter, PCMS, and DOORS as appropriate
- Provide support to the delivery of the Radar Equipment into sub-system test, Avionics systems integration, and flight test including creation and review of test plans and reports and analysis of System Problem Reports coordinating fixes with the Supplier
- Provide EDR support to Integrated Test Facility activities for the testing of Radar Equipment
Your skills and experiences:
- Preferably educated to degree level in a STEM subject or equivalent experience
- Ideally experienced in supplier management
- Some knowledge of Airborne Radar Systems and Systems Integration is desirable
- Experience working on the Typhoon programme is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad stakeholder group
- Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining attention and concentration for long periods
- High level of self-motivation and strong organisational skills

The ECRS Mk2 team:
