Site Agent – Highways & Structures | Leeds | £50,000 – £60,000 + PackageLocation: Leeds, West YorkshireSalary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum (DOE) + Car/Allowance + BenefitsAbout the CompanyOur client is a well-established national civil engineering contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across Yorkshire and the North of England. Specialising in highways, bridges, and structures, they have a strong order book of public and private sector work and are continuing to grow their operations.To support this continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Site Agent with proven highways and structures experience to join their team in Leeds.The RoleAs a Site Agent, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and liaise with clients and senior management to deliver projects to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the delivery of highways and structures projects from start to completionEnsure all works are delivered in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standardsLead and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliersReview project design, drawings, and specificationsMonitor programme, quality, and cost performancePrepare and manage method statements, risk assessments, and site documentationMaintain strong communication with clients, project managers, and engineersAbout YouPrevious experience as a Site Agent (or strong Sub Agent ready to step up) within civil engineeringProven background in highways, bridges, and/or structural worksStrong leadership and organisational skillsSound knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety managementCSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid qualificationsDegree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (preferred)What’s on OfferCompetitive salary up to £60,000 (DOE)Company car or car allowanceExcellent career development and training opportunitiesLong-term workload with a respected regional contractorApply now or contact James Forton on 07974 157 401 or james.forton@kentonblack.com for a confidential conversation.
