If so, Compass Group UK&I has the perfect opportunity for youWe’re looking for a Head of Sales and Events to work with us on a brand new contract.Location: London - Zone 1Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experienceWorking Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - FridayJob PurposeWe are looking to recruit a Head of Sales and Events to drive revenue by overseeing sales strategies and the execution of event planning and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Leadership:Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the client base and achieve revenue targets, leading and motivating the sales teamClient Relationship ManagementCultivate and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their event needs, and ensuring high-quality customer service.Event Planning & ManagementOversee the entire event planning process, from initial concept and pitching to operational execution and on-site delivery.Commercial GrowthDrive business development and commercial growth for the business or venue, focusing on securing high-value contracts and long-term partnerships.Financial OversightEnsure events are planned and executed within budget, achieving set financial goals and maximizing profitability.Required Skills & ExperienceSales Expertise:A strong background in sales, particularly in high-end hospitality or events.Organisational Skills:Excellent Organisational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and large-scale events.Negotiation & Communication:Strong client-facing and negotiation skills to secure deals and build client trust.Leadership:Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a small team.Why join Compass Group?Be part of the market leader in contract cateringWork in a supportive, inclusive environment that values innovation and collaborationExcellent career progression opportunities across our diverse business sectorsAccess to a range of employee benefits including bonus schemes, car allowance, pension and Learning & Development programsIf you’re a results-driven sales and events leader who’s ready to take the next step in your career with a company that invests in people and rewards success, apply now and join Compass Group UK&I.
