This role requires a strong grasp of event logistics, commercial awareness, and team coordination across multiple markets.You’ll work closely with event producers, sales, marketing, and Editorial/ content teams to ensure each event runs efficiently, on budget, and to the highest professional standard.This position reports into the Director Content Marketing & Global EventsYour strategic role:Oversee the full operational delivery of global conferences and other bespoke projects across DN Media Group’s Global publications.Leadership and development of a small teamResponsible for an events budget in the region of £1.2MRepresent DN Media Group professionally at events, maintaining strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.Your day-to-day:Lead a team of highly skilled events operations specialists including steering a few events from the front (with full project ownership).Be on top of all timelines and operational workflows of the global conferences and content projects.Manage cost budgets, supplier contracts and stakeholders for each project.Develop and implement efficient systems and processes for event planning and reporting.Support sustainability and cost-efficiency initiatives across the event portfolio.Liaise with venues, AV providers, contractors, and other suppliers to ensure smooth execution.Coordinate with sales, marketing, and editorial teams to align operations with business objectives.Lead venue sourcing, floor planning, and on-site logistics management.Oversee delegate registration, speaker management, and exhibitor operations.Ensure all event materials, branding, and signage are produced on time and to brand guidelines.Manage and mentor junior operations staff and external contractors.Your background:Educated to degree level, in relevant subject area.Able to demonstrate significant experience in event operations, ideally within high profile B2B conferences.
