As part of our Group Engineering Team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of large-scale projects along with all Compliance Requirements associated with our mechanical, pressure systems & large rotating plant assets across the Portfolio.RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to a Mechanical Engineer Lead you will also assist in maintenance activities when required to keep the plant running round the clock to deliver for our customers.You will be part of a team ensuring our assets comply with regulatory, industry and company best practices & standardsYour input will be essential to ensure the company business objectives are met whilst maintaining & ensuring safe, reliant and profitable generation.As part of our engineering team large scale maintenance projects, upgrades with flexibility and reliability driven focus will be part of your objectivesOffering support and technical advice to our site maintenance teams will also prove essential with good communication being keySKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEExperience in Large Rotating Plant and/or HRSG Pressure System in large Industrial processes (Power Generation desirable)Knowledge of relevant legislation, e.g. health & safety, environment and employment lawKnowledge of budgets and contract managementEducated to minimum HNC standard, with degree desiredUnderstanding of engineering standards and legislationSolid understanding of work planning and the work control processGood working knowledge of the Generation Safety Rules and business IT systems (including MS Office, Maximo and Cintellate).THE PERSONSelf-motivated and able to work with limited supervisionAptitude for further business and technical trainingAbility to assist and support colleagues and promote co-operation.Desire, aptitude and attitude to learn and develop and share your knowledge and experience with colleaguesEmbraces change and ability to adapt self and others to new situations / working methodsFlexible approach applying your skills to meet the business needs.Promotes business ethics with high regard to Environmental and Safety factors Ability to communicate clearly and conciselyAbility to handle multiple work projects running together as the business need arisesOrganises own workloadDemonstrates excellent communication skillsAbility to work as part of a small team, encourage collaborative working relationshipsValid Driving Licence and prepared to work at multiple sitesRullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants.
