Business Development Executive

Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for two Business Development Executives to join their London office. Supporting two of their biggest practice areas, you will contribute to day-to-day activities, support senior team members on key projects, and collaborate with colleagues across the wider business development function. This role offers broad exposure to a wide range of business development and marketing disciplines.The Responsibilities:Contribute to the creation and delivery of practice area and marketing plans, supporting fee earners with client, target, and intermediary activities.Assist with pitches, credentials capture, legal directory submissions, and the review of marketing data and analytics.Conduct market and competitor research and support client mapping exercises.Coordinate internal communications, support marketing campaigns, and collaborate on seminars, events, and PR initiatives.Develop and maintain practice area materials, support profile-raising activities, and help leverage thought leadership, including LinkedIn support.Produce newsletters and client alerts, manage mailing lists, monitor engagement, and ensure all materials adhere to brand and house-style standards.The Candidate:2–4 years’ marketing/BD experience in professional services, confidence working with senior stakeholders, and an interest in developing strong practice area understanding.Proactive and persuasive approach, strong communication and influencing abilities, excellent attention to detail, and effective teamwork.Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives, challenge constructively, and support continuous improvement.Please note: Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
