We are looking for someone with M&A comms experience, proven media relations, strong project leadership skills, and a deep interest in current affairs, who would like to work as part of an integrated corporate affairs team in a purpose-driven global investment organisation.About The TeamCorporate Affairs at EQT is part of the CEO Office, working to build EQT’s reputation by delivering Communications and Public Affairs activities globally. The diverse global team is based in Hong Kong, London, New York, Oslo and Stockholm.About The RoleAs a Communications Associate, you will support M&A, fund and shareholder-related communications in Europe. You will work hand-in-hand with the rest of the global communications team, while having the autonomy to drive some projects and workstreams. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on cross-functional initiatives, such as Integrated MarComms campaigns or Public Affairs projects. The role will be based in London or Stockholm and is permanent & full-time.Key ResponsibilitiesDriving day-to-day communication activities related to M&A and fundraising activities Proactive and reactive media relations – focused on the finance sector and relevant investment themes (e.g. healthcare, infrastructure, technology, etc) Content production including press releases, communication plans, Q&As, etcWorking cross-functionally with EQT’s marketing, content, investment, fundraising, business development and shareholder relations teams Issues management, as and when necessary About YouYou have some experience in the private capital sector and know what it takes to run a best-in-class deal comms process – ideally in both private and public market situations. At the same time, you have broad horizons and see yourself as a rounded corporate affairs professional, with experience across corporate communications and public affairs. This means you are generally interested in current affairs, geopolitics and the most complex issues facing global businesses. You also have proven media engagement skills, excellent English writing skills, and experience working on cross-border projects.
