You’ll maintain and improve manufacturing equipment using a multi-skilled approach, working to high safety and reliability standards in a fast-paced, automated environment.What you’ll doPerform proactive and reactive maintenance across site equipment, ensuring health and safety procedures are always followedDiagnose faults and carry out root cause analysisContinually seek ways to improve all processes and procedures relating to equipment maintenanceSupport the site Reliability agenda: identify failure modes and trends, complete root cause analysis, and drive agreed actionsProvide support to site Project and Change Initiatives as appropriateUse CMMS to log and manage maintenance tasksSupervise contractors and issue work permitsEnsure all work complies with health & safety regulationsWhat we need from youElectrical bias is essential – must hold relevant electrical qualificationsLevel 3 Engineering Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical MaintenanceMulti-skilled across electrical and mechanical disciplinesExperience in fast-paced, safety-driven environmentsStrong fault-finding skills (electrical, mechanical, PLC)Ability to read engineering drawings and operate workshop toolsExperience and/or certifications in automation, PLCs, and robotics highly desirableSafety-conscious, adaptable, and a team playerShift Pattern ExampleA typical rotation includes: 3 nights on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 3 nights on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 7 consecutive days off, 2 days on, 2 days off.About CHEPCHEP helps move goods for the world’s biggest brands with over 300 million pallets & containers across 55+ countries.
