As Director, you will play a critical role in creating visually compelling, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the usability and experience of our software products. You’ll manage a team of product designers while contributing hands-on to projects across the product lifecycle and refine our approach and processes around product design and research.Working in close partnership with product managers, business analysts, and engineers, you’ll be responsible for translating wireframes and user journeys into pixel-perfect visual designs and design systems that scale. You’ll bring a user-first mindset to everything you do, ensuring our products are intuitive, accessible, and on-brand across all platforms.ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and support a team of product designers across multiple product linesCollaborate with product managers and business analysts to translate user research and wireframes into intuitive, modern, and accessible interface designsCreate and maintain scalable design systems, style guides, and component libraries that support consistency across productsProvide design specifications, assets, and documentation to support smooth developer handoffApply best practices in UI design, interaction design, and visual hierarchy to produce thoughtful and effective user experiencesParticipate in design reviews and usability evaluations, incorporating feedback to continuously improve designsStay current on UI/UX trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to elevate the quality and relevance of our productsChampion user experience through data analytics, user research, accessibility best practices, and continuous iterationQualifications5+ years of experience in UI or visual design for digital products, preferably in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment1+ years of experience in a leadership or team management roleProficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping platformsDemonstrated experience designing intuitive web applications solving complex customer problemsExperience collaborating within cross-functional agile teams and adapting designs based on feedback and feasibilityExcellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions and advocate for the userA strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI work, design systems, and attention to detailTo learn more about our values, mission and the wide-range of perks offered to employees at Comply, visit https://www.comply.com/careers/ .
