Our work spans Government and Defence markets across civil and military applications, powering intelligent advantage on a global scale.Typical Activities • Responding to technical support requests via email, phone or ticketing system • Providing advanced troubleshooting and resolving customer incidents • Fulfilling service requests and provisioning hardware • Supporting the Major Incident and Problem Management processes • Creating and maintaining user guides and internal documentation • Collaborating with other teams to drive incident resolution • Assisting in inter-team knowledge sharing and workload alignment • Delivering training and support to other Service Desk team members • Communicating service issues and updates to management • Supporting service delivery excellence across the businessWhat we're looking for • Strong technical troubleshooting skills • Experience with Windows and Linux desktop environments • Good understanding of IT networks • Proficiency with ITSM tools such as Jira, Freshdesk or ServiceNow • Experience using knowledge systems like Confluence or SharePoint • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools • Excellent communication skills, face-to-face and online • Strong customer service mindset • Experience in a Service Desk or similar support environment • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise effectivelyDesirable • Experience working with secure communications environments • Familiarity with Unix systems • Knowledge of Wi-Fi networking • Experience managing Apple mobile devices • ITIL Foundation or equivalent knowledgeQualifications & Eligibility To be eligible for this position you must: • Have relevant experience in an Service Desk or technical support role, OR have a degree in a relevant field; and, • Be a British citizen; and • Hold or be eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) – DV level clearance.Why Work at PentenAmio?At PentenAmio, we value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:Life Insurance - X4 SalaryPrivate Health SchemeEV Salary Sacrifice schemeSalary Sacrifice Company Pension, matched up to 10%25 Days Holiday + Bank/Public HolidaysOption to buy an additional 37.5 holiday hoursCycle to Work schemeCoffee & Cake mornings every fortnightEnhanced Maternity & Paternity leaveTeam Away DaysAdditional perks:Free on-site parkingFree Flu VaccinationCasual dress codeFree fruit in the officeHealth & Wellbeing programPentenAmio is committed to providing equality of opportunity for all.
