You remove technical barriers to comfort.Access to Remembrance You ensure families can effortlessly download our Certificates of Life and personalized graphics and participate in remembrance projects like the Perpetual Flame. These activities are central to the healing process and your work makes them immediately available. Building Trust and CredibilityA professional, secure, and user-friendly website is essential for building trust with both the families we support and potential fundersTrust and Reliability A well-maintained site reflects the professionalism and trustworthiness of Heaven's Playground Org. Followed byKnowledge of or willingness to learn WordPress and WooCommerce systemsProduct ManagementCRM expertise would be desirableStrong eye for designGood English and Maths although most systems can help with this as long as you know what you are trying to say or do.Good organizational skillsKnowledge of GDPR and how it worksWhat will you be doing?Proven experience with website design/CMS (like WordPress/WooCommerce) and slso some knowledge of CRM would be good. Strong eye for design, good organizational skills, and a commitment to keeping user data secure/GDPR.The ideal volunteer will polish our new website designed by GrassRoots, make sure it runs smoothly and works accurately. They may need to work with the Social Media Volunteer on developing some new pages such as a blog, monthly news page and possibly rolling campaigns to attract footfall to the site, both those needing help and those who may be looking for a charity to donate to, so a dynamic yet warm and friendly website is crucial and ours is not quite there yet so it will be a project to undertake making it worthy of the community it represents.The online shop is in need of a lot of work and would be a priority as each year in May we hold an online silent auction and we would like to make sure this year the whole system works well before we go live as we had a few problems last year.It would be helpful if the volunteer had some experience of loss just to help them to understand the demographic they will be presenting the site to and what may work and what wont but there will always be someone to check-in with and have work signed off by before it goes live if needed.Heaven's operates a completely inclusive policy so all candidates are welcome without fear or favour and we have strident policies to ensure the protection of all those who connect with Heavens in any way.
