As Social Value Manager, you will be at the heart of this mission—leading social value strategies that create jobs, boost local skills, support community initiatives, and drive long-term economic growth.This is your chance to play a pivotal role in a project with huge regional importance, while enjoying a competitive package, strong backing from senior leadership, and genuine career progression.What You’ll Be DoingAs the project’s Social Value champion, you’ll shape and deliver initiatives that ensure social, economic, and environmental benefits are embedded at every stage. You will:Develop and implement a comprehensive social value strategy aligned with client objectives and government frameworksTrack, monitor, and report on key metrics—local employment, skills development, community engagement, and moreWork with procurement teams to ensure social value requirements are built into supply chain contractsCultivate strong partnerships with stakeholders, community groups, charities, and educational institutionsProduce clear social value performance reports for senior leadership and external partnersDrive compliance with the UK Social Value Act and all project KPIsPromote diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and responsible business practices throughout the projectAbout YouYou’ll succeed in this role if you bring:A degree in Social Value, Sustainability, Community Development, or a related fieldExperience delivering social value on major civil engineering or infrastructure programmesStrong knowledge of the UK Social Value Act and government reporting frameworksA proven track record in stakeholder engagement and building community partnershipsExcellent communication, influencing, and project management skillsGreat to have:Experience in nuclear or high-hazard environmentsFamiliarity with social value measurement tools (e.g., TOMs Framework)Membership of IEMA or similar professional bodyWorking EnvironmentThis role is primarily office-based with occasional site visits. A full safety induction will be provided.
