New exciting opportunity to join on a full-time, permanent contract a therapeutic, family-feel Fostering Agency as Home-based Supervising Social Worker in Cumbria.
What is fantastic about this opportunity is that the IFA is open to flexible working arrangements that will improve your work-life balance and will is open to discuss flexi-time, TOIL. As a home-based supervising social worker you will have more time tospend with yourself, the family or other commitments. Their working culture is focused on keeping the caseload as small as possible, between 8 to 10 foster carers. They want to ensure you have enough time and energy to really get to know and understand thechildren and foster carers.
The fostering agency is a family-feel organisation that is keeping things small, not being part of any multi-national and focused on bringing genuine results for the children. Their focus is not on the money part and that shows within the organisation: lowstaff turnover, everyone feels happy at work.
As a Home-based supervising social worker support the agency in ensuring all government legislation, Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards are complied with. This role is focused on mainly supervision of foster carers, does not include assessments.

**Requirements**:
For this post it is required to be a car owner and a driver. At least 2 years or more of post-qualifying experience in Fostering is beneficial. For this role you must be a Qualified Social Worker registered with SWE and living in Cumbria.
