One role is a permanent full time role, the others are 18 month fixed term contracts. As a Development Officer, you will be part of a team delivering one of the most complex and exciting development and regeneration briefs in the UK.You will support the delivery of a range of housing regeneration projects – at all stages, from inception to completion. You will be changing people’s lives for the better, ensuring that more families desperately in need have a genuinely affordable place to call home.You will come to us with a genuine commitment to delivering exemplary housing development and regeneration schemes, as well as an understanding of housing, regeneration and planning issues. Some experience of project management in a housing development, regeneration or construction environment is desirable. You will also have a track record of successfully engaging with colleagues and residents – building positive and productive working relationships.Hackney Council is undertaking an ambitious programme of regeneration across a number of housing estates and sites across the borough. We aim to transform places by building new neighbourhoods with well-designed housing, streets and public spaces.
