The Senior Reinsurance Underwriter will manage and assess complex reinsurance contracts, evaluate risks, negotiate terms, and monitor underwriting performance. The role involves developing solutions that align with client needs, maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients, and staying informed on market trends and regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business targets and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.QualificationsExtensive experience in reinsurance (Both Facultative & Treaty) underwriting, specifically in areas like surety, bonds, property, or engineering insurance Strong analytical skills for risk analysis, financial assessment, and decision-makingProficiency in negotiation and relationship building with brokers, clients, and stakeholdersThorough understanding of global insurance markets and regulatory environmentsExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts effectivelyProven leadership abilities to mentor and guide junior team membersBachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications in insurance or reinsurance are advantageousProactive mindset, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
