With a focus on our WISE product offer, you’ll design and deliver workshops, webinars, training courses, and consultancy support, both in person and online, ensuring every session is engaging, evidence-based and tailored to client needs.A key focus of the role will be developing new EDI content and resources that reflect best practice, evolving legislation, and emerging challenges in STEM. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their goals, shape learning experiences that meet those needs, and ensure our products and services create measurable impact.Collaboration will be central to your success. You’ll partner with colleagues across internal teams to enhance and refine our EDI offer, strengthen customer relationships, and support wider business objectives. You’ll also act as a trusted advocate for our members and clients, ensuring their voices are represented in the development of future tools, training and services.This is a role for someone who brings confidence, empathy, and expertise to every workshop and webinar, and who thrives on delivering training that empowers others to learn, grow and drive meaningful change.What we hope you can bring to the roleWe’re looking for an experienced training and development professional with a strong track record in delivering EDI training, consultancy, and practical support to organisations. You’ll bring deep subject matter expertise in equality, diversity and inclusion, ideally with experience working in or alongside STEM employers, and a passion for translating complex topics into accessible, engaging learning experiences.You’ll be confident working directly with clients, and you will have the ability to understand their EDI challenges, shape tailored solutions, and build strong, trusted relationships. You’ll have experience creating training content, developing resources, and ensuring all materials are aligned to legislation, best practice and sector standards.If you bring curiosity, compassion and a commitment to helping organisations achieve meaningful change, we’d love to hear from you.A Little More About The RoleDeliver the IET’s and WISE’s EDI training, workshops, webinars, and consultancy services, both in-person and virtually, ensuring high-quality, engaging client experiences.Develop new EDI content, tools, and training materials that align with legislation, best practice, and the evolving needs within STEM.Tailor training programmes to client requirements, setting clear success metrics and reporting on outcomes and impact.Plan and manage delivery schedules, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and customer expectations.Work closely with clients to build strong relationships, understanding their challenges and ensuring excellent value for money.Collaborate with the Portfolio and Product Management team to support ongoing enhancement of IET and WISE products and services.Identify opportunities to improve content, tools, and delivery approaches based on customer insight and emerging trends.Support new business activity with the Engagement and Growth team, contributing to proposals, materials, and client conversations.Represent customers and members across the IET, ensuring their needs inform future development.A Little More About What We’re Looking ForProven experience delivering EDI training, consultancy, and content development that meets customer needs and drives measurable outcomes.Expert knowledge of EDI principles, legislation, and best practice, ideally with experience in the STEM landscape.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.Ability to analyse complex issues, make sound recommendations and produce clear, insightful reports.Highly organised, with the ability to plan and manage multiple training programmes and workstreams.A collaborative, proactive team player who brings empathy, professionalism and a passion for creating inclusive change.Willingness to travel in the UK and occasionally overseas when required.We’d love to get to know youIs Imposter syndrome creeping in?
