HFM Reporting and Consolidation Administrator

Location : London

SystemsAccountants are working with a growing organisation in London who seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Systems Administrator to join the team as an HFM Reporting and Consolidation Administrator . In this pivotal role, you will support the FP&A Central and Group Consolidation teams by managing and administrating the HFM reporting and consolidation tool. Key Responsibilities:

Operational Administration of HFM

  • Update rates, manage mappings with local ERPs, and oversee financial opening/close processes.
  • Manage and monitor user access within the HFM system.
  • Control and ensure accurate data entry by subsidiaries into HFM.
  • Assist subsidiaries and central teams with HFM-related issues and troubleshooting.
  • Provide training and support to approximately 150 HFM users.

SOx Compliance and Control Management

  • Ensure SOx compliance is met according to company policies and procedures in partnership with local users and third-party service providers.
  • Manage user setup, access requirements, and monitoring review controls.
  • Coordinate the Change Management process and monitor associated controls.
  • Facilitate walkthroughs of controls internally and with external auditors.
  • Recommend improvements to controls and assist in addressing and remediating any control gaps.

Project Management for HFM Development

  • Act as the intermediary between finance teams and external service providers for HFM development projects.
  • Lead tool development projects, from drafting specifications based on business needs to testing, and overseeing the piloting of updates in the production system.
  • Monitor and assist in the creation of Entities, Cost Centers, and Accounts, particularly during acquisitions or business changes.
  • Collaborate with central teams to develop new KPIs.

Support for FP&A and Consolidation Processes

  • Assist with creating and maintaining financial dashboards.
  • Participate in the development of monthly reports and financial forecasts.
  • Support in budget and forecast processes, as well as ad-hoc financial analyses.
  • Provide assistance with data loading and extraction for reporting purposes.

Candidate Profile:

  • 2-3 years of experience in systems administration of an EPM system.
  • HFM experience is a plus, though not required – experience of similar solutions such as SAP BPC, OneStream, Cognos Controller, TM1, Tagetik considered.
  • Experience with SOX compliance or control-based processes is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, methodical approach to work, and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support a large user base.
  • A proactive problem solver, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
