I am currently supporting a Penzance based Nursery, who are seeking a Level 3 Qualified member of staff who ideally would undertake Room Lead and Key Person responsibilities. This role is available as either a full or Part Time (job share) opportunity, however a full time Nursery Assistant would be preferred.Annual Salary £16,857.69Term Time only – 39 wks worked + 5.6wks paid leaveHours per week 32.5hrs – 8:45-15:15 with half hour paid lunchThere will be opportunity for overtime throughout the week as we have some children who start and finish outside of those hours – overtime is paid at time and equates to £11.63 p/hr at basic rateIn addition to basic salary there is the opportunity to take on additional rolesThese roles carry an hourly uplift and are detailed in Additional Roles PolicyGeneral responsibilities will include: Running fun activities that help children learn and developHelping children feel settledKeeping the nursery clean and safeSupporting the long-term progress of children to set them up for schoolBe familiar with the setting’s policies and proceduresUnderstand the roles of SENCo, Lead Persons and Key PersonsSeek support from the relevant members of staff when requiredThe successful applicant(s) will find themselves working within a supportive and friendly team, with opportunities to complete free or heavily reduced CPD via our extensive CPD Academy.If you might be interested in applying for this role, please contact Louise on (phone number removed) or click to apply and I will call you back.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
