Job Description

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh/Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a ServiceNow Developer for an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £494/day (Outside IR35). This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.
Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop HR Service Delivery forms
  • Design and develop Back End HR Service Delivery workflows (flows)
  • Configure Employee Centre to expose the HR forms/processes to our end-users
  • Configure/customise workspace for HR agents to process HR cases, and managers to report on the cases
  • Design and implement integrations with other HR systems such as iTrent to support the above
  • Assist in the adoption of ServiceNow modules through tool customisation
  • Perform support and provide technical documentation
  • Carry out other duties as required

Essential Skills:
  • Experience of the current version of the ServiceNow platform
  • HR Service Delivery module
  • Employee Centre Portal
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of the platform mechanics and best practices
  • Strong teamwork, self-managing and self-initiative, coaching, collaboration & communication skills
  • JavaScript development independent of and within the ServiceNow framework
  • Integration and orchestration knowledge
  • HTML, XML, CSS & JSON
  • Self-Service Portal (beyond Catalogue Items)

Desirable Skills:
  • Exposure to Agile working methods
  • Configuration/customisation of workspaces
  • Configuration of Virtual Agent
