SENIOR AESTHETIC PRACTITIONER

Location: Belgravia, London

Salary: £40,000 DOE + Commission + Bonus

Job Type: Full-time (Part-time considered for the right candidate)

Schedule: 40 hours a week / 5 days/week, no weekends.

We are recruiting for an experienced and talented Senior Aesthetician to join a discreet, expert-led clinic in the heart of Belgravia. Specializing in dermatology and aesthetics, this clinic, which opened its doors in January 2024, is founded by three leading plastic surgeons and supported by a team of 11 dermatologists and five additional plastic surgeons.


This medically-led clinic is dedicated to delivering exceptional standards of care, blending professionalism with a warm, client-focused approach.


As part of the aesthetics team, you will play a key role in creating an outstanding client experience. You’ll personify the clinic’s values of professionalism, friendliness, and proactivity while maintaining the highest standards of service and care.

Main responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Carrying out a range of treatments to the highest standards
  • Preparing integrated treatment plans with Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons
  • Attending training for new treatments as required
  • Supporting the Directors and Clinic Manager when required
  • Building a regular client base
  • Ensuring Treatment Rooms and common areas are clean and of a consistent high standard


Additional start up responsibilities

As the business develops, they will expect you to undertake some additional roles when not undertaking your main responsibilities:


  • Answering telephone and taking bookings
  • Cleaning treatments rooms
  • Assisting with escorting patients to their treatment room
  • Co-ordinating treatment room availability including training days as well as bookings
  • Ordering stock as directed by the managing director
  • Co-ordinating clinic laundry including towels and staff uniforms
  • Refreshing public areas, including lavatories during office hours when the reception team are otherwise engaged or the cleaners are not available


These additional roles will reduce over time.

Knowledge requirements

  • A minimum 2 years in-clinic experience with expertise in advanced medical grade skin and machine-based treatments including laser.
  • NVQ level 3 diploma in beauty
  • Level 4 certificate in laser and intense pulsed light
  • Certified training for: skin peels; micro needling; fat freezing; radiofrequency; medical skin care
  • Fluent English spoken and written
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Experience using booking software (either in hospitality or healthcare)
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Self-motivated
