About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled QC Technician to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based near Northampton, our client is a well-established manufacturer of specialist chemicals. As a member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials and fragrance batches.


**Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control tests on raw materials and fragrance batches.
  • Investigate and record non-conformances and rework according to specification.
  • Release raw materials, fragrance batches, and laboratory batches after testing.
  • Assist the production team with any queries related to raw materials or production batches.
  • Re-test batches and materials as required.
  • Solve problems and provide clear instructions for reworking.

**Requirements:

  • An excellent sense of smell and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills with strong time management abilities.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts.
  • Prior experience in performing quality control on aromas and fragrances is advantageous.
  • Ideal candidates hold A-Level qualifications in Science.
