Key Worker

We are seeking a Senior Key Worker who will lead by example in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting. You will take responsibility for the development and implementation of individual care plans, acting as a key contact for allocated residents, and ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for residents, fostering positive relationships and providing consistent support.
- Develop, review, and monitor care plans, ensuring they align with residents' needs and goals.
- Support team members with guidance and training, promoting best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate activities that promote personal development and independence.
- Manage challenging situations calmly and effectively, maintaining a safe environment.
- Liaise with families, external agencies, and professionals to ensure holistic care.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a residential care setting.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Compassion, resilience, and dedication to making a difference.
168 - 173 hours per month
£14 - 16.50 per hour DOE
£60 sleeps
