Plate Maker

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Production team for a Plate Maker to work a triple shift (earlies, evenings and nights) at our Rivendell site. Training available, experience within the industry is not necessary.As a Flexographic Plate Maker at Rivendell, you will be responsible for the daily production offlexographic plates, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet customer print schedules. Thisincludes managing workloads, prioritising jobs, and ensuring plates are produced to the higheststandards and specifications.In addition to your core responsibility of plate production, you will uphold stringent qualitystandards throughout the process. Flexibility is essential, including covering for absences,holidays, and providing overtime support during peak periods to meet business demands.Key Areas of Responsibility: The production of flexographic plates for the Rivendell customers including Films, Flexibles, Paper, Corrugate and Sack marketAdhere to all workload schedules within the dept to ensure consistent plate output at all timesCollaborate with both internal and external teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client requirements, adhering to agreed SLAsCoordinate client requests efficiently by working closely with the appropriate Rivendell teams to ensure seamless progressionEstablish key working relationships with colleagues (and where applicable...client base)Proactively address customer (internal and external) concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives to further enhance service levelsDevelop key working relationships with colleagues to ensure effective collaborationUnderstand the basics of flexographic plate making/Pre-press and flexographic printingUnderstand SOPs and suggest improvements where applicableBasic level of computer skillsTo provide the Plate Manager with current stock level as requestedReport all H&S issues in keeping with company procedure Key Requirements:Organised and calm under pressureFriendly, approachable and flexible - a team playerProactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates "can do" attitudeGreat attention to detailAlthough experience is desirable, it is not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate Selection:This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive business who invest in people.
