Baunat Group, owner of the internationally renowned diamond jewellery brands Baunat and Valquère , is searching for a new Showroom Manager & Sales Representative for its showroom in London .


Both Baunat and Valquère are digital native vertical luxury brands, allowing you to stay in tune with the latest innovations in product, sales and marketing whilst operating solo from a premium location in London (Brookstreet, Mayfair).


Thanks to your affinity with jewellery and passion for sales, service, business development and luxury, your goal is to further grow and support our position in the British market, reporting directly to Baunat Group’s top management.


To successfully fulfil your role, we foresee a 2-week sales and product training upon your start with continued remote support from the headquarters. To build a long-term relationship with our new colleague we need a motivated, mature, versatile and flexible person. Someone who can easily combine commercial tasks, with administration and business development. Therefore, the ideal candidate is self-employed and works part-time, so the position can easily be combined with other (professional) activities.


Job description


1. Sales & marketing

  • Your main focus will be on sales
  • Guiding new clients through their search for the perfect jewel via email, phone, chat or during showroom visits with close follow-up using our CRM system
  • Facilitating appointments, explaining the company’s business model and showcasing our fine diamond jewellery
  • Taking care of after-sales requests (size adjustments,..)
  • Organising (small) events in/around London, in close collaboration with the Belgian headquarters and/or local partnerships, and looking for media opportunities, either independently or in collaboration with a PR agency


2. Showroom Management & Business Development

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of the London showroom in all its aspects (commercial, administrative, interior,..) in consultation with the landlord/building manager
  • You will get the chance to play a leading role in the future expansion of our British market by opening new showrooms or pop-ups for any of the brands (no specific dates yet)


Profile

  • You have at least 4 years of experience in areas like B2C sales, customer service, hospitality management, business development or luxury.
  • You fluently speak and write English , any other language is a plus.
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Living in or near London is a must, having a large network in London and around is a plus.
  • You have strong communication skills and are digital savvy
  • You are flexible (not 9-to-5-minded), independent, driven, dynamic and ambitious
  • You have an eye for detail and an affinity for luxury products
  • You are honest and reliable, high sense of responsibility, customer-oriented and problem-solving
