Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, is currently seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join their team in Hook, Hampshire.Key Responsibilities: Commission products within required dates and to the highest quality standardsCarry out initial testing alongside commissioning on designated productsEnsure all build procedures are followed, maintaining high standards of workSystem assembly and QA testing for customer orders ready for shipmentRecording and updating documentation associated with QA and customer ordersEvaluate and conduct repairs on returned equipment and systemsPerform in-house calibrations and sanity checksLiaise with Geotechnical Systems Engineers to develop testing capabilities for productsPrepare, maintain and implement internal and external technical proceduresDebug and solve issues with products both onsite and in the fieldEnsure adherence to Health and Safety requirementsJob Requirements: Experience within an engineering environment, preferably in Materials, Electronics, or Mechanical fieldsBasic understanding and confidence in working with electronic/electrical components and systemsLogical thinking and fault-finding skills for software, mechanical and electrical issuesFamiliarity with sensors, transducers, and electro-mechanical systems is advantageousAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, schematics, plans, and specificationsQuick learner of in-house developed software packagesExcellent presentation and communication skills in English, both oral and writtenCapability to independently manage time and prioritise work whilst maintaining deadlinesFlexible approach to work and willingness to collaborate with team membersEager to learn new ideas and conceptsProficient in Microsoft Office for report writing and scientific data interpretationHigh standard of housekeeping, cleanliness, and tidinessBenefits: Competitive salaryComprehensive training and development opportunitiesDynamic and diverse work environmentEmployee benefits packageOpportunity to work with innovative technologies and equipmentIf you are an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer looking for a permanent role in a dynamic and supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.
