An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's award-winning, multi-disciplinary, family-owned construction company. This role will see you become a vital member of the commercial team, supporting Directors, Project Managers, and Quantity Surveyors in the commercial management of a diverse portfolio of contracts.
About the Role: The successful candidate will have a proven track record in quantity surveying, ideally with experience in the civils or construction sector. Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues at all levels are essential.
Holds a relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in quantity surveying or a related field.
Experienced in working within a quantity surveying team.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word, with experience in estimating software beneficial.
Managing commercial aspects of applications, change control, and final accounts.
Commercial management of sub-contractors.
Conducting cost and value analysis.
Competitive, negotiable salary based on experience.
