An exciting opportunity has arisen at French Connection for an Email & CRM Marketing Executive to join our Digital Marketing Team in our Camden Head Office.
Contract Type: Permanent
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm
Salary: up to £32,000 p.a depending on experience
Purpose of the job
Working with both third parties and internal teams, this role’s primary focus will be to manage French Connection’s email and CRM programmes. You will drive the execution of the trading calendar by delivering commercially and aesthetically strong email campaigns and by growing revenue from CRM/triggered emails’ programmes. Your organisational skills are second to none. Analytical by nature, you thrive to improve performance and work across teams to innovate and deliver excellent customer journeys.
Roles and responsibilities:
Email Marketing:
- Work closely with the line manager, trading and merchandising teams to translate the trading calendar into commercial and engaging marketing emails tailored to our audiences and markets
- Brief assets required to create emails to the design team, ensure that they are produced timely and to the required formats, whilst meeting the brand guidelines, best email practices and commercial mindset
- Work with the brand team and copyrighter to produce engaging and on brand email copy
- Build, proof test and schedule emails
- Report on the channel and individual email performance on a weekly and ad hoc basis using the email platform and Google Analytics data
- Coordinate improvements and drive innovation to email processes, templates & execution through a robust and commercially focused testing plan
- Keep on top of the new collection launches, product availability dates and sales metrics to brief and deliver the most engaging and revenue driving emails
CRM:
- Own customer segmentation. Build audience segments for email campaigns to maximise response and maintain strong deliverability
- Manage triggered email campaigns; update their templates with seasonal creatives, define areas for optimisation and testing
- Develop new lifecycle campaigns to improve customer retention
- Work with Ecommerce team to maximise email sign ups and grow database
- Drive on-site personalisation using customer segmentation
- Report on database health and key customer KPIs
Other
- Support the wider Ecommerce team with special projects and other ad hoc activity when required
Key Skills:
· At least 1 year experience of briefing, building and launching emails using an ESP / customer platform, in a fast-paced e-commerce business
· Experience in customer segmentation and email automation
· Understanding of email marketing best practices
· Strong analytical skills and experience in testing and reporting.
· Strong communication and organisational skills, great attention to detail
· Skilled in Microsoft Office & Excel
· Proactive and can-do attitude
· Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
· Experience of using Bloomreach advantageous but not a pre-requisite.
