Product Sales Specialist, Lease Accounting

About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Sales Specialist to join our expanding sales team. This is a key role driving growth in our core markets by helping customers understand the value of our products and providing expert knowledge on lease accounting standards such as ASC 842 , IFRS 16 , and GASB 87 .
You will work closely with prospective clients, delivering product demonstrations, explaining complex accounting regulations, and guiding them through the sales process from initial contact to deal closure. You’ll be a trusted advisor, ensuring our solutions help clients meet their compliance needs while enhancing productivity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Achieve 100% recurring revenue from your assigned product portfolio.
- Collaborate with Commercial Sales teams to identify new clients and business opportunities within the lease accounting space.
- Execute a strategic sales plan to exceed targets.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and webinars to showcase the benefits of our lease accounting software.
- Act as a subject matter expert on lease accounting standards and align our product offerings with these requirements.
- Manage deals and stakeholders effectively.
- Provide accurate monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in the CRM, including deal size, close dates, and next actions.
- Apply formal sales methodologies to drive success.
- Work as part of a collaborative, target-driven team.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in complex sales environments, managing deals, and hitting targets.
- Experience selling at Director/Executive/C-level.
- Knowledge of lease accounting (ASC 842, IFRS 16, GASB 87) is essential.
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of market trends.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding presentation and communication abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage your time effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.
- A team player with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
