Academic Quality Analyst (Part-Time)

Location : UK Management College (UKMC) – Manchester Campus

Employment Type : Part-Time, 0.6 FTE (3 days per week)

As an Academic Quality Analyst , you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our academic offerings remain compliant, relevant, and of the highest quality, in line with UK higher education regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance : Conduct regular reviews of academic programs to ensure adherence to institutional and external quality standards.
  • Data Analysis : Analyse student performance data, module evaluations, and other relevant metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Policy Development : Contribute to the development and review of academic policies and procedures to maintain best practices.
  • External Engagement : Liaise with external quality assurance agencies and professional bodies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support for Academic and Non-academic Staff : Provide guidance and support to academic staff on quality assurance processes and best practices.
  • Reporting : Prepare regular reports on quality assurance activities and findings for senior management.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as education, quality management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in academic quality assurance or a similar role in higher education.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A strong understanding of UK higher education regulations and quality frameworks.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.
  • Experience in using data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate).
