A growing energy trading firm, at the forefront of innovation and sustainability are offering the opportunity for a HR Systems and Data Analyst to join their team and play a critical role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of their HR operations. As the organisation continues to expand, they are investing in the development of robust HR systems and data capabilities to support the dynamic workforce and strategic goals.

The Role

As the HR Systems and Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the HR systems and data. This includes overseeing new system implementations, capturing and analysing requirements, designing and delivering solutions, and optimising current HR technologies. Your expertise will enable seamless HR operations, ensure data integrity, and drive actionable insights to support decision-making at all levels of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of new HR systems, ensuring alignment with organisational needs and industry best practices.
  • Capture and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Analyse current HR systems, identifying opportunities for enhancement and delivering optimised processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage system upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain high standards of HR data integrity, developing and enforcing data governance policies.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide actionable insights for HR and business leaders.
  • Train and support HR teams and end-users to maximise the adoption and effectiveness of HR systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR systems implementation, management, and optimisation.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with expertise in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
  • Experience capturing and translating business requirements into effective system designs.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and a track record of maintaining high data accuracy and integrity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in the energy sector or a trading environment.
  • Familiarity with HR metrics and KPIs to support strategic workforce planning.
  • Project management certification or experience managing cross-functional projects.

The role is onsite 3 days per week in London with a competitive salary, depending on experience. The wider package includes bonus, pension, Bupa healthcare and more.
