About the Role

MBN Solutions are partnered with a global consulting firm to support in the search for a IT Business Process Analyst to join their team on a fixed term basis.

Within this role, you can expect to:

  • Analyze current IT processes through observation, interviews, and tool reviews, identifying key service touchpoints across the organisation.
  • Map existing processes using ITIL principles, defining inputs, outputs, and performance indicators, while creating clear, actionable standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with ITIL service management guidelines.
  • Tailor ITIL processes to meet the organisation’s needs, ensuring alignment with ITIL lifecycle stages where relevant.
  • Maintain a centralized repository for documentation, establish a review and update procedure, and collaborate with IT and information security teams to refine SOPs.
  • Lead feedback sessions and apply ITIL’s continual service improvement (CSI) approach to update SOPs based on performance metrics and feedback.

About You

  • Proficiency in business process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, BPM software) and experience with ITSM tools for automating or ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess current workflows and recommend ITIL-aligned improvements.
  • Experience in documenting processes and creating clear, user-friendly standard operating procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of the ITIL framework with hands-on application experience.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills for engaging teams during process validation and implementation.
