About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Multisite Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated pharmacy professional to make a real difference in the lives of our patients while advancing their career and expanding their skillset.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in the entire dispensing process, checking and preparing medication orders, ensuring accuracy and safety in handling and distributing pharmaceuticals, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and healthcare professionals, and delivering courteous and effective customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participating in the entire dispensing process

Additional Opportunities
  • Completing and maintaining accurate administrative records
  • Managing the inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment
  • Receiving, storing, and issuing medications and other supplies
  • Monitoring expiration dates and ensuring adequate stock levels
  • Providing healthcare advice and signposting customers to appropriate resources when necessary
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), have an NVQ3 qualification, and have completed the additional accuracy checking course in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent qualification. Prior experience in a customer-focused environment is also required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is £15.79 per hour, plus a £1 supplement, making it a competitive offer in the industry. The total working hours are 40 per week, with a flexible working pattern to be discussed during the interview process.
