Job Description

Our client is seeking an HR Business Partner for their UK (Reading - RG7 2PQ) office.

Our client operates in the Defense and Space Manufacturing, and their products and solutions are deployed in more than 300 programs and across 35 countries.


POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Business Partner will drive the talent strategy and execution for the business and functions within their assigned client groups. This individual will need to partner closely with peers across the matrixed organizations to deliver thorough talent solutions. The HRBP will have accountability for multiple businesses/functions which may be located across our different sites in Spain, Geneva and UK.In addition, this role will include International HR projects concerning Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Workforce Solutions to deliver complete HR solutions to their internal executives, managers, and team members.


Responsibilities include:

  1. Lead Change management process on values, mindsets, and behaviors as well as cross functional projects / HR related work
  2. Act as a strategic leader and change agent to identify, implement and analyze success of programs to support business needs
  3. Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and peers
  4. Coach and advise managers as well as mentor employees on team interactions and manage employee relations.
  5. Drive successful closure of requisitions by helping managers identify, attract and retain top talent in the organization.
  6. Help managers identify developmental opportunities and succession for their workforce
  7. Deliver performance and compensation planning, talent management/succession planning and training as outlined in the Human Resources annual calendar
  8. Embody Integrated mindset by connecting business and functions to drive one Management Operating System
  9. Partner with business leaders to ensure employees are empowered, engaged and accountable for delivering business results
  10. Handle employee relations or any employee conflict
  11. Lead HR projects for the international structure


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum of 12 years’ experience in Human Resources; including strong Organization Design experience
  3. Experience of UK labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  4. Prior Aviation and Defense industry experience is a plus
  5. Experience working across a matrixed organization.
  6. Exceptional communication, leadership and planning skills with the ability to influence without authority and engages for impact across teams
  7. Aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision making
  8. Strength of character, ethics, and commitment, and reliability
  9. Ability to travel based on business demands
  10. Strong understanding of Compensation, Talent Attraction, HR Analytics
  11. Familiarity with Benefits and Payroll processes
