Dries Van Noten is a well-known brand in the fashion industry. Dries established in 1986 his own label and opened his first boutique in the Belgian fashion capital, Antwerp. In 1993 he brought his women’s collection to the Paris runways for the first time. Today, he has own stores in Antwerp, Paris, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu, in addition to more than 500 multi-brand partners. Van Noten’s vision, skill and devotion to the artistry of his designs elevates his work to transcend trends and time, mastering beauty, craft and function. In June 2018, Puig entered the capital structure of Dries Van Noten as majority owner. And in 2022, the fragrance and makeup collections were launched.


The Opportunity


As the Store Manager at Dries Van Noten, you will lead the daily operations of our London Flagship store. Your role is to inspire a team of sales associates, ensuring they deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets while upholding the brand’s high standards. Your passion for the Dries Van Noten philosophy and leadership skills will drive the store’s success and provide clients with unforgettable experiences, reflecting the essence of our brand.


Your Role & Responsibilities as Store Manager


  • Recruit, train, and inspire a talented sales team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and provide regular coaching to your team.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to drive employee engagement.
  • Lead by example, engaging in selling and creating memorable client experiences.
  • Develop personalized client relationships that embody the Dries Van Noten philosophy.
  • building the most appropriate product offer (buying participation, reorders, transfers, etc.).
  • Monitor sales targets, track performance, and implement strategies to exceed goals.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and escalations with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Dries Van Noten collections and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing Dries Van Noten in all client interactions.
  • Ensure the store’s presentation meets high visual merchandising standards.
  • Oversee inventory management, perform stock checks, and coordinate replenishments.
  • Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Uphold operational policies, including cash handling, security, and health & safety.
  • Provide weekly reports on sales trends, team performance, and operational insights.
  • Collaborate with the head office to align store operations with overall business goals.

Profile


  • 5-7 years of retail sales experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership role, ideally in luxury retail.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate a high-performing team.
  • Proven success in driving sales and achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Passion for luxury fashion and a strong appreciation for art and culture.
  • Proficiency in retail software and POS systems.
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a major plus
