Job Description

My client is a leading global law firm, with an exceptional reputation in the UK for is Banking and Finance work, are now looking for a Legal Recruitment Advisor to join their London-based HR team.


The Legal Recruitment Advisor will provide support across both Lateral, Trainee and Partner Recruitment, working closely with the wider team. The role also has a large diversity and inclusion focus, so an interest in this area is desirable.


The key duties will include:


  • Working in collaboration with the Senior Recruitment Manager for Legal recruitment and Graduate & Business Services Manager, and the wider HR team by liaising with recruitment agents and working with the HR Team Assistant, to ensure the timely co-ordination of all interviews for Lateral, Graduate and Business Services roles, ensuring rooms are booked and Zoom details are set up and provided for those joining virtually.
  • Drafting offer letters and contracts of employment for all lateral and business services roles, and also providing holiday cover and support on fee-earner recruitment and some graduate recruitment during peak periods of business, to support the wider HR team.
  • Be available on occasional evenings, weekends, as may be necessary for recruitment events and providing support to the wider team where needed.
  • Working closely with the Managers in the HR team to meet the recruitment, DEI and HR needs across the London office with an advisory and data focussed approach.
  • Support the Firm’s completion and communication of external and internal data requests.
  • Provide updates and advisory duties to the HR, Recruitment and DEI teams based on data analysis including and not limited to the Gender Pay Gap, SRA Diversity Survey, and employee engagement, analysis of recruiting costs, processing invoices.


The Legal Recruitment Advisor will ideally have previous legal recruitment experience or similar. They must be confident yet discreet and have excellent communication skills across all levels of the firm. The right candidate will have flexibility with work hours with advanced proficiency in Microsoft and legal recruitment systems, strong data and reporting skills and previous legal recruitment experience are desirable but not essential.
