Your Role

As an Associate at Tenex Legal, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional executive search services to our elite clients. This includes:

  • Managing the recruitment lifecycle: From sourcing and engaging top legal talent to successfully placing them with prestigious law firms.
  • Market research and mapping: Conducting comprehensive research to identify and assess high-calibre legal professionals globally.
  • Relationship-building: Cultivating trusted, long-term relationships with leading lawyers and legal professionals, offering expert advice throughout their career journeys.
  • Client engagement: Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders at top-tier law firms to understand their hiring strategies and deliver on complex mandates.
  • Insights and reporting: Preparing and presenting detailed market insights and trends to both the internal team and external clients.



What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking ambitious, driven professionals who align with our vision and values. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: Proven experience in legal recruitment, ideally within private practice. Experience recruiting for financial services sectors such as private equity, banking, or accounting is highly valued. Candidates with a professional services background in law, finance, or consulting who are looking to transition into recruitment are also encouraged to apply.
  • Relationship management skills: Ability to build trust and influence with senior stakeholders, including managing partners and executive committees.
  • Proactive mindset: Self starters with a results-driven approach, with the ability to deliver exceptional outcomes across retained and complex mandates.
  • Research and organisational skills: Highly organised and those who thrive under pressure, with prior experience in research-driven tasks.
  • Analytical ability: Comfortable analysing market data, interpreting trends, and presenting actionable insights confidently.
  • Professionalism and ambition: A desire to contribute to a growing, high-performance team and shape the future of legal recruitment.
