Davies is a multi-award-winning operations management, consulting, and digital solutions provider to organisations in highly regulated markets, including insurance, financial services, utilities, communications and to regulatory bodies. Our core services include Claims Solutions, Insurance Services Consulting and Technology and Legal Solutions.


The role


We’re looking for an Internal Communications Manager to support our Global Solutions business division. Our Global Solutions team comprises of 1,100 employees, a diverse range professional services & technology professionals supporting the Insurance & Financial Services markets.


The Global Solutions division is a truly global workforce located in North America, Europe, Asia & Australasia, with professionals spanning forensic accounting, consulting, technology, recruitment & learning; so, careful consideration and planning will be required to deliver messages and content to a diverse range of employees across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities


  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the Global Solutions leadership team and advise on strategic internal communications approach.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with core supporting functions including HR, IT, Compliance, Operations & Finance to develop a holistic overview of business activity and objectives and ensure communications support these activities are planned, scheduled & executed accordingly.
  • Write & develop engaging & exciting communications, with clear call to actions that drive the business objectives.
  • Work closely with our change management team to ensure change within the Global Solutions division is communicated effectively and in an easy to digest way.
  • Create, implement, and manage a proactive internal communications programme tailored to our Global Solutions colleagues.
  • Establish a cadence of regular, Global Solutions orientated content for newsletters, leadership townhalls, and other regular internal communications.
  • Ensure Global Solutions is represented on the Group Intranet site and hosts shared documentation and information.
  • Work with the events team to organise and execute the annual Global Solutions leadership engagement programmes.
  • Identify and advise the most effective way to cascade messaging through a variety of communication channels including the employee intranet, newsletters, emails, webinars, internal notice boards and posters.
  • Working closely with business leaders on acquisition integration to ensure smooth transition into Davies and create awareness and engagement with the Davies culture.
  • Collaborate and work with communication peers across the corporate communications team to ensure the Global Solutions plan incorporates Group messaging and communications.
  • Collaborate and work with communications peers within the corporate communications team to help identify employees / business news stories appropriate for external communications.
  • Tailor, develop, plan and edit content for a Global Solutions audience.
  • Deliver monthly reports to the leadership team on activities executed & planned.


Key skills and experience required


  • Prior experience in an Internal Communications role is a must
  • Ability to manage stakeholders of all levels
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with a talent for making complex matters easily digestible
  • Ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Experience using intranet or online communications tools
