Job Description Summary: We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist with 5+ years experience working with young people with Autism & severe learning disabilities. The role involves performing assessments, monitoring progress, and providing sensory recommendations.

  • You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working to improve the lives of young people in school settings and residential homes.
  • As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with up to 60 young people who have autism, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments to establish the needs of young people and monitor progress.
  • Carry out observations and provide sensory recommendations.
  • Conduct direct therapeutic work to train staff and engage with young people.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience working with young people with Autism & severe learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to convey sensitive information and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
