TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to work in the Chertsey, Surrey area working in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company. The role will be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5, with lots of overtime available. Must work weekends on a shift rota (roughly 1 in 4 but will vary).This role requires flexibility during their busy season (May to October) with regards to hours and days worked.Salary: £45,000(Overtime after 40 hours is at time and a half)This is an exciting role for a talented individual who is looking for a new challenge, wants to join a fast paced and high performing team renowned for their approach and delivery of unparalleled service.We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:Key responsibilities: As a Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will deliver maintenance across all aspects of building services, bringing strong knowledge of building systems across all disciplines with a key competency in mechanical engineering.Provide maintenance support (Including Installation, planned, preventive and reactive maintenance) in relation to site services, plant/equipment.AHU, FCU and mechanical servicing/maintenance, to include pump seals, bearings and alignment.Form part of the on-call rota within the Maintenance Team.Seasonal shift pattern (some weekends/evenings)Prioritisation of work programme to satisfy business needs.Ensure maintenance standards and quality of work delivered are to the required level.Fault finding, diagnosis and repairs.Oversee the conduct of contractors on site, monitoring the implementation and performance of tasks allocated.Deliver specialist technical support and services in relation to building plant/equipment.Ensure robust application of health, safety and environmental procedures and processes.Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.Any other duties as and when required.Benefits: 20 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany vehicle & Fuel card provided – not to be taken home.Unlimited overtimeWorking for a high-end clientEnd of year rewardsPrivate medicalKnowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities: Engineering/Technical qualification (Apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 in a relevant discipline i.e. mechanical/plumbing/HVACAHU, FCU and mechanical servicing/maintenance, to include pump seals, bearings and alignment.The candidate should be able to write reports/jobs sheets either manually or electronicallyExperience in Building ServicesGood knowledge and level of competency in other areas of building services (BMS, Electrical)Full clean driving licenceHighly conscientious, reliable and punctual.Personal Attributes: Strong time management, organisation and planning skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Drive and enthusiasm “can do” approach and ability to solve problems and make decisions.Highly flexible and adaptable.Can work under pressure with the ability to meet strict deadlines.Highly professional and presentable.Able to work well in a team and unsupervised.Extremely confidential and discreet.Can follow instructions in a cooperative and accurate manner.Loyal, trustworthy, respectful and honest.High attention to detail.If you are an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for an exciting new permanent position with long term development and career progression opportunities, please apply today or get in touch with Lauren Mann @ TXM.TXM Recruit is an equal opportunities employer.
