Job Title: Principal Technology Development EngineerLocation: Barrow-In-Furness, Bristol, or Frimley (Hybrid - 2/3 days minimum on site). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.Salary: £55,000What you'll be doing: Supporting project teams to manage activities, performance and reporting for a range of R&D projects within the Technology Management portfolioProviding advice to project technical leads and team members on the development of R&D proposals, and subsequent mobilisation and delivery of those projectsEnsuring R&D projects are managed correctly, reporting progress at key stage gate reviews, and keeping all stakeholders informedCoordinating monthly financial and progress reviews and reporting for a range of R&D projects within the Technology Management portfolioMaintaining a watch on maturing and emerging technologies that may be of interest to the business, including regular contact with partner universitiesSupporting updates to our Technology Strategy, highlighting those technologies and capabilities that are important to our businessEncouraging and supporting the submission of ideas for new R&D projectsYour skills and experiences:EssentialSTEM related degree or equivalent experienceManagement of engineering projects involving the introduction of new technologiesExperience working on large or complex engineering projectsSelf-motivated with excellent communication skillsChartership, or evidence or working towardsExperience of stakeholder engagementBenefits: You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
