Job Description

We are recruiting for a Company Secretarial Assistant Manager to join a well-established and highly respected professional services firm. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented governance professional to work on a diverse range of company secretarial tasks, supporting both routine compliance and complex corporate transactions.

Key Duties:


  • Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering annual compliance services and assisting with event-driven transactions , including share buybacks and capital reductions.
  • Provide expert company law and secretarial advice to internal departments and clients.
  • Support the development of team standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with drafting legal documents, precedents, and training materials for the department.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as tax, audit, and corporate finance, on multidisciplinary projects.


Key Skills:


  • Extensive experience in a company secretarial role within a professional services or legal environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK company law, including corporate transactions and statutory compliance.
  • A proactive and flexible approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • CGI/ICSA qualification (or significant equivalent experience) is ideally preferred.
  • Experience with Diligent Entities is a distinct advantage.
