The Internship
This 12-month internship (with the possibility of extension) is your chance to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing disciplines while being part of a small team that values collaboration. You’ll play an active role in shaping campaigns and strategies, with plenty of room to share your ideas and see them come to life. Whether you’re a recent graduate, a career changer, or looking to enhance your marketing skills, this role offers the perfect platform to grow in a global organisation with a local touch.
What you’ll do
During this 12-month internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a range of marketing activities. Your responsibilities will span several key areas to ensure you develop a well-rounded skill set:
Campaign Development and Execution
- Plan, create, and execute marketing campaigns across both digital and traditional channels.
- Collaborate with the team on brand strategy, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and messaging.
- Assist in managing and measuring the effectiveness of multi-channel campaigns.
Content Creation and Management
- Create engaging content for blogs, social media, email newsletters, and the company website.
- Contribute to multimedia projects such as video marketing, podcasts, and interactive webinars.
- Develop ideas for storytelling that resonate with different target audiences.
Digital Marketing and Analytics
- Optimise website performance through SEO strategies and implement targeted SEM campaigns.
- Manage and evaluate social media channels, including paid social advertising and community engagement.
- Track campaign success using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and provide actionable insights.
Event Marketing and Public Relations
- Support planning and execution of events such as client workshops or virtual seminars.
- Assist in managing public relations, including drafting press releases and liaising with media contacts.
Marketing Automation and CRM
- Learn to use marketing automation platforms to build workflows, segment audiences, and nurture leads.
- Collaborate on customer relationship management (CRM) strategies to enhance the customer journey.
Professional Development and Special Projects
- Attend workshops, webinars, and industry events to deepen your marketing expertise.
- Take ownership of a significant marketing project during your internship, presenting results to the team.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments, including customer service, HR and sales, to align messaging and objectives.
- Act as a key contributor to brainstorming sessions and marketing strategy discussions.

What We’re Looking For
- We’re seeking a proactive individual with:
- Marketing experience or education (degree, training, or equivalent experience).
- A strong interest in digital marketing tools, platforms, and strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical abilities to interpret data and drive informed decisions.
- Creativity and innovation in developing campaigns and content.
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Details
Start Date: Flexible, ideally as soon as possible.
Duration: 12 months.
Location: Guildford (hybrid).
Hours: 37.5 per week.
Salary: Competitive for an internship role.
