Role Background

The Electric Car Scheme, our first offering from Net Zero Benefits, is a leader in HRtech/ClimateTech, delivering innovative solutions to employers and their employees. We are looking for a driven Pre-Sales Consultant to help expand our services in the mid-market and enterprise space.


The Pre-Sales Consultant supports the Business Development team by bridging sales and technical understanding, accelerating the sales cycle, and showcasing the value of our solutions. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience winning mid-market and enterprise customers.

This will be our first hire in the Pre-sales function, so we would love this person to bring their ideas, enthusiasm and expertise in order to shape the role.


What you bring to the role:

  • Proven Experience: You thrive in dynamic start-up or scale-up environments and have a track record of winning or supporting mid-market and enterprise deals.
  • Commercial Insight: You understand prospects' unique needs and provide clear guidance to close deals.
  • Tenders & RFPs: You have experience responding to and winning business through RFPs and tenders.
  • Technical Deal Management: You effectively navigate legal, procurement, and infosec requirements.
  • Team Player: You’re passionate about enabling teammates to deliver our solution to a wide range of clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Support Business Development: Help win mid-market and enterprise deals, measured by impact on win rate and lead time.
  • Proposal Development: Complete RFPs and tenders alongside building a scalable, repeatable process for success.
  • Proof of Concepts: Introduce PoCs into sales cycles to demonstrate value to prospects.
  • Deal Support: Assist with infosec, procurement, and client questionnaires, joining deals where your technical, legal, or procurement expertise is needed.
  • In-House Expert: Become a subject matter expert on our product, roadmap, and sales process.
