About the role


In this specialist role, you will work closely with the Chief People and Culture Officer to drive the talent, leadership and learning agenda. You will also be responsible for programme management of talent and learning initiatives in line with our strategic priority of attracting, retaining, developing and engaging high performing and diverse talent. You will also be accountable for managing small learning and talent acquisition teams.


You will be a member of the People and Culture Leadership Team (PCLT.)


About you


Your experience


  • With experience of developing talent strategies and approaches, you will have a sound understanding of the impact of effective talent management on the organisation’s ability to attract, retain and engage high performing talent
  • Proven track record of designing, delivering and evaluating talent and leadership programmes, ideally globally
  • Experience of driving learning initiatives in support of business strategy and of establishing a learning culture
  • Experience in coaching and facilitation would also be advantageous
  • An awareness of the challenges of attracting and retaining talent in global organisation
  • An active interest in talent trends and developments e.g. managing a multi-generational workforce, human centric leadership, impact on skills of AI
  • People management experience, ideally across geographies, would be highly beneficial
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills are essential
  • Minimum intermediate experience in using Office 365 software - in particular SharePoint, Microsoft Teams events, PowerPoint


Your day-to-day

Leadership Fundamentals programme


  1. Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the successful roll out of our flagship Leadership programme, Leadership Fundamentals
  2. Identify and implement activities to support embedding of learning for the programme
  3. Assess approach for further phases of the programme and support planning and implementation accordingly
  4. Establish a Leadership Fundamentals Programme alumni community


Talent and Succession Management


  1. Work with the CPCO on senior talent and succession management
  2. Support HRBPs with tools and approaches for ongoing roll out of talent reviews
  3. Ensure DE&I is considered in all talent and succession management approaches
  4. Consider need for bespoke talent programmes, in line with our DE&I strategy


Talent Acquisition


  1. Provide strategic leadership and line management support to the Talent Acquisition team
  2. Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead to set out the TA agenda and priorities
  3. Provide sponsorship of TA projects and initiatives.


Learning


  1. Lead a small team to deliver learning and development activity in FSI
  2. Provide leadership to the ongoing management of our mandatory learning programme
  3. Identify and manage suppliers to support learning requirements
  4. Support the utilisation of our corporate e-learning platform (LinkedIn Learning)
