Job Title: Project Support Coordinator – Military Vehicles

Location: Red Lane, Coventry, UK

Vacancy Type: Full-time, Permanent and Hybrid working.

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 subject to experience


JOB SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the support and coordination of project taskings in support of the NP Aerospace Specialist Vehicles (SV) Business Unit.


The role will include the coordination of all project taskings across the SV Business Unit which are received from external customers. This will involve liaising with a variety of functions across the Business Units to ensure that tasks are allocated and prioritised to meet the customer timeframe requirements.


Due to the nature of contract and the customer requirements, the successful Project Coordinator will have excellent administrative and communication skills.

Please Note: This is a hybrid role. You will be based mainly on-site with home working available when suitable and with manager approval.

MAIN JOB DUTIES


  1. Ownership of the position of initial Point of Contact (PoC) for all received customer taskings.
  2. Maintain an up to date database of all taskings received and progress status.
  3. Allocation of taskings to Project Managers ensuring required completion dates are clear and concise.
  4. Updating of the Business Units ‘Pipedrive’ system.
  5. Liaise with Supply Chain to obtain supplier quotes to enable customer documentation to be completed.
  6. Liaise with Goods Inwards / Despatch to ensure transportation of parts is achieved to customer timeframe requirements.
  7. Coordinating all project team members so workflow remains on schedule
  8. Provision of robust management information reporting on progress both internally and externally.

EXPERIENCE


  • Excellent communication skills and business awareness
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and effectively under minimal supervision
  • Ability to quickly identify the key pinch points and bottlenecks and report issues
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • A knowledge of SAP or other MRP systems is beneficial
