Are you ready to take on a role as Sales Account Manager where you’ll be the driving force behind client relationships?
This isn't about hunting down new business…it's about working with clients who are already onboard and making sure they continue to receive the absolute best.
Your new boss who’s been with the company for 4 years now, started with no experience in the industry. Everything he knows, he’s learnt from the two founders, both experts in their field. They kept every promise made to him, and he’s been trained, promoted, and well-rewarded for his hard work. Now, you’ll be stepping in to work alongside Tom, helping the company continue its impressive journey.
This business has made huge steps forward in a short time, catching the attention of their competitors with key investments in machinery, moving to new premises, and earning accreditations that put them up there with the bigger players in the market.
Here’s what your day as Sales Account Manager will look like:
You’ll manage a portfolio of existing clients, taking ownership of those relationships.
You’re their main point of contact, ensuring their needs are not just met but exceeded.
You will use your natural rapport-building skills to deepen those connections and identify new opportunities to support your clients.
What we’re looking for from you as Sales Account Manager:
Someone who builds and nurtures relationships like second nature.
If you have knowledge of the metals industry this would certainly help, but not a deal breaker
A clear communicator—you know how to engage people and make them feel heard.
Organisational skills that keep you on top of multiple client needs.
Experience using CRM systems, or at least the willingness to learn.
Experience in the engineering sector is a bonus, but if you haven’t got it, don’t worry. We’re more interested in your attitude—after all, your new boss didn’t have industry experience either, and he’s thrived.
What’s in it for you?
£32-35k basic with uncapped OTE
Monday to Friday hours, 08:30 to 17:30.
22 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
