Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

A small, dedicated team is already in place to handle quality, health & safety, and environmental matters, supported by an external consultant. Now, the company is looking for a team leader to take charge of these activities. This role would suit a graduate with relevant qualifications or an industry professional ready to step into a leadership position. They’re seeking someone with a hands-on, flexible, and proactive attitude to help take things to the next level

Duties to Include:

* Oversee and implement the Quality, H&S and Environmental Management Systems.

* To work with the existing team to enhance and embellish existing practices

* Conducting internal safety, environmental and quality audits and then working with staff to address non-conformances and to implement opportunities for improvement.

* Establishing quality and safety metrics for product and service excellence.

* Leading the development and implementation of policies and programs that ensure product compliance with external and internal standards.

* Facilitating training sessions for employees on quality improvement and safety practices.

* Monitoring ongoing performance and quality control systems to ensure products meet consumer expectations and regulatory standards.

* Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

* Preparing reports on quality and safety issues, investigations, and other significant outcomes based on the data collected.

Skills/Experience required:

* A degree within Mechanical Engineering or related degree or relevant experience within a similar role.

* The ability to multi-task and meet set deadlines

* A good working knowledge of MS Packages
