What you’ll do:
As HR Advisor you’ll be supporting the delivery of the Severn Group’s People strategy. Reporting to the Divisional HR Business Partner you will deliver generalist HR support for the Severn Glocon Division.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Act as the first point of contact for all HR related queries.
Take accountability for all HR related administration for the Division.
Support, guide/coach and upskill our managers in the business with Employee relation issues.
Produce and deliver training to our employees and managers.
Review and update Policies and procedures for the Division, ensuring they are embedded into the business.
Collaborate with the wider People Team on HR continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
What you’ll need:
Strong generalist HR knowledge and experience.
The ability to demonstrate an active involvement in change initiatives including behavioural and cultural change.
Highly developed organisational skills: the ability to coach and influence others, excellent communication skills; flexibility; self-motivated; improvement focused; able to prioritise and work to strict deadlines.
The ability to work pro-actively at pace with minimal supervision under own initiative.
Previous experience of working for a matrix / multi-site business would be advantageous.
CIPD Level 3 or equivalent is essential, CIPD Level 5 or equivalent would be advantageous.
