We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to take charge of key financial processes.

This is a pivotal supporting role with regular interaction across internal teams and external partners.

Job Description:

Maintaining Financial Records:

Guarantee that all the financial records are correct and maintained up to date as often as possible:

Sales Ledger
Purchase Ledger
Support with processing valuations
Issue of Purchase Orders
Bank Reconciliations
Credit Cards Reconciliations
Management of Expenses.
Assist with Quarterly VAT Returns
Assist with Monthly Salary Journals
Assist with Monthly Prepayments/Accruals/Depreciation
Credit Control
Supporting Managing and Coordinating Monthly Reporting and Budgeting:

Assist with Profit and Loss Variance analysis
Assist with KPI analysis
Assist with Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
Maintaining Internal controls and improve processes
About you

Degree / Qualification in accounting or finance (Ideally AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified)
Knowledge of Xero
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping
Understanding of data privacy standards
Be diligent and accurate in your work.
Be adaptable and able to develop your skills in line with the company’s development.
Proven Experience
Ability to use own initiative
The Package
