Nationally launched as a new brand concept in 2006, TPS is based on an Agency Model; this means that Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. TPS has continued to experience rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres opened nationwide.
Job Purpose
This role is pivotal as we aim to strengthen our market position, enhance customer engagement, and increase sales growth in this critical area.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
Share insights and findings with the team to inform strategic decisions.Strategic Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with the Volkswagen head office team to develop and implement strategic plans for sales.
Monitor progress against targets and adjust strategies as needed to ensure success.Training & Development:
Develop and deliver training sessions for BDMs and other stakeholders to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to BDMs, ensuring they have the tools and information needed to succeed.
Stay up to date with industry trends, new products, and technologies to maintain expertise in the field.Customer Support & Relationship Management:
Act as a customer support function, assisting customers with inquiries, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Attend customer meetings, centre visits, and industry events to promote products and build relationships.Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and strategy.
Communicate regularly with the Volkswagen head office team, sharing updates and insights.
What are we looking for
An ability to effectively engage and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Managing activities to grow and develop business.
A practical level of business financial awareness to provide valued input, and insight, at an operational level and recognise areas of risk and opportunity.
Experience of managing national campaigns and activities.
Possess a high degree of IT literacy.
